A regenerated man is Spirit-driven – ‘conscious’ so that his Body, Soul, and Spirit are united through his Spirit to God’s consciousness.

#Soteriology: A comparative Study of Salvation in Christianity & Ifa Mythology

God speaks to us by intuition while communicating with God through our communion. Without communion, we can not reach God, and without intuition, God is not reaching us. Intuition is the organ or faculty of sensing spiritual things. It involves direct sensing, independent of outside influence. Communion is the faculty of Worship. Our Spirit, through communion, can only reach God, and the Worship of God can only take place in the realm of Spirit. Our Soulical organs are not competent to worship God, and we can only worship God through our organ of communion – a spiritual faculty.

In fellowship, the tripartite nature of man must be involved. Apostle Paul says in 1Thessalonians 5:23, “And the very God of peace, sanctify you wholly and I pray your whole spirit and soul and body be presented blameless into the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The unison of these three faculties brings about real Fellowship with God. The other related words for fellowship are:

  1. Companionship
  2. Camaraderie
  3. Comradeship
  4. Friendship
  5. Partnership
  6. Association.

God wants to be our friend, companion, and partner, and he wants to partake and participate in all our endeavors and decisions we make on earth. “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”—1 John 1:3. John says, “Truly our fellowship is “—not was but is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”

The first step towards Fellowship with God is repentance from iniquities. David said, “if I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;” You must not cherish sin, and you must be consumed with the zeal to Fellowship with God. Those who seek God have their hearts live. Every Christian needs to know God personally, and it is an act of fellowship. You can only get to know God by spending personal time with Him.
#Spiritual Formation Book 2
Christians without a quiet time with God are harming themselves. Jesus Christ sets us an example in Mark 1: 35 “Very early in the morning, while was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” The time we spend personally with God is called ‘Quite Time’ or daily devotional time, and this is how we oil the Fellowship with God.

Quiet time is essential, and you can set your own time at your convenience in a day; early morning is recommended, but the choice is yours. It must be the regular and same time each day. It is an appointment with God that you must keep, and God keeps its appointment. Prayer is your tool of Communication with God. When you read and meditate on the Word of God, the Word comes alive. God speaks to you through His Word, and the application of His Word in our day-to-day existence called Obedience gives us peace: the peace of the LORD that passeth all understanding. We are being changed as we spend time with God through His Word (the Scripture). We grow in Christian maturity, from Spiritual babes to adults, who have the likeness of the son of God. “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.” 1 Peter 2:2.
